A Thousand Worlds in One Day

I met with Jodie Lee Behrendorff in a gallery in Oxford St. After chatting with her shortly, we left the gallery.  After a few step outside, my partner and me thought that Jodie's portrait was a great one to paint. We decided to turn back and ask if she would be interested in posing for a painting. Luckily, she was happy to hear our offer..
I did not know that she was a successful actress when I asked her to pose for a portrait. She was great to work with. Very professional and fun. I asked her to name the first painting and she came up with this: A Thousand Worlds in One Day..

Out of the Blue

Recently, I have been working on a series of works that focused on the relationship between water and humans. A number of there works came alive with thanks to my subject, Kael Murray.
Kael is a professional dancer. Kael’s preferred style is Tribal Fusion Bellydance, a style spawned from of American Tribal Style Bellydance created in the 1970′s.
It was a great pleasure to work with her.. and I believe the outcomes are striking!!!

We had great fun during the poses..
